I am very excited for 2020. I play on getting out even more for my personal photography. I also plan on pushing myself a bit more, whether it’s with new techniques or using different lenses. Case in point, I decided to use my 135mm last evening and it felt really good. Admittedly, I usually put my 50mm lens on my camera and call it a day. Using a fixed lens such as the 135mm really forced me to see differently and obviously position myself different, not just physically, but mentally.
Since I had a session at my studio on Victoria, I figured I would stay close by, so I chose Kam Park as my destination. It was around 4:00pm so it was fairly dark with a slight haze. In my mind, that is the absolute perfect weather. At least for me. I walked around for about 45 minutes and came away with some good shots. I do wish I wore my Sorels though, the whole area was not plowed at all.
I’m not sure which lens I will be using on my next walk around but be sure to check back in a couple days to see!
